Dear Prospective Parents,
On behalf of ICAS, please accept our best wishes during this very challenging time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
We have received many queries and will attempt to address the main concerns.
While we plan to open on the tentative dates in August, we naturally await government orders.
We are already planning how we will open and how best to maintain social distancing, as well as being proactive in handling any other concerns regarding every ones well being. Please be aware that these matters are our foremost concern. However, it is not unlikely that a later start than August may be required. Keeping that in mind, we have started online classes, which we are assessing and tracking to run effectively. We are supporting our students to the best of our ability, but also recognise that parents have had to give extra support too!
Although online classes are not the best option, with the prevailing times, we need to adapt the best we can to continue our students learning. With the uncertainty, and online classes going at a slower pace than on campus, we are starting ahead of the normal dates, to keep students on par with the learning modules.
There is a concern of textbooks being unable to be bought due to lockdown, for which teachers will upload material for each class.
Prospective families and candidates waiting for admissions will be informed by the school office before the new academic session of online classes start.
We are always available to support parents with further queries or concerns.
Please email your queries and it will be forwarded to the relevant person.
